Vidbynäs gård is beautifully located by Lake Thuringen. The stately main building is in its oldest parts from 1711. At the beginning of the 19th century, the farm was rebuilt, probably around the 1840s. The noble family and descendants of the founder of the town's steel mill eventually took over Vidbynäs and ran the farm until 1897. The manor was then rebuilt in stages over the centuries, but took on its current appearance in the early 2000s. It was also until 2000 that Vidbynäs gård was in private ownership and then turned into a party and conference facility.

For those of you who want an outdoor wedding, you can get married in the park outside Vidbynäs or down by the beach. You are also close to the beautiful Turinge church - a church whose oldest parts were built as early as the 12th century.

In the beautiful dining room there is room for 150 seated wedding guests. Here, the light flows in through the windows and you have the terrace, which is perfect for a bridal shower directly outside.

Vidbynäs gård is the perfect place for those of you who want to create the perfect personal wedding dinner yourself, as they have no fixed menus but adapt the wedding dinner to each individual bride and groom.

In the manor house and the nearby buildings there is room for all guests to spend the night comfortably. At Vidbynäs Gård there are 80 hotel rooms and 170 beds divided into single rooms, twin rooms, superior rooms, studio suites and family rooms.

Vidbynäs gård's wedding coordinator's best tip for a fantastic wedding is to start the day before with something relaxed. Since there is room for all your guests to stay overnight, you can easily make the wedding a weekend event with a barbecue or similar on Friday and finish with brunch on Sunday. This way you get the chance to socialize and talk to all your guests.
